A Day in Kennebunkport

When the sun is shining there is no place I’d rather be than in or on the water. First I’d rent a paddleboard from Aquaholics surf shop, pick up a lunch to go from Cape Porpoise Kitchen and head out to Stage Harbor where I’d fish, swim, eat and explore the surrounding islands. I’d finish the day eating a delicious lobster roll at the Ramp, Kennebunkport Maines’ best-kept secret.
After enjoying a cup of coffee at the Inn, I’d gather my beach bag, making sure I had a great book. I’d hop on a bike and go across the street to grab a picnic lunch from Market Day. After picking up lunch, I’d bike to the Colony Beach and pick a good spot in the sun. As I begin my bike ride back to the Inn, stopping at Mabel’s for a Raspberry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream and Spaces Kennebunkport and Day Trip Society for a little shopping is a must. I’d finish the day off with dinner and the best deep-dish chocolate brownie dessert from Bandaloop.
After an early morning coffee and breakfast on the Inn’s porch, I’d pop my kayak in the water and head up river with the tide. I’d stop off at Picnic Rocks to have lunch and go for a swim. Later, I’d go for a hike at Well’s Reserve and then enjoy dinner at Joshua’s Restaurant and a play at the Ogunquit Playhouse.
I’d wake up early and go for a morning deep sea fishing trip on the Ugly Anne in Ogunquit. I’d go to Port Lobster and pick up a steamed lobster lunch and enjoy it at Government’s Wharf while watching the lobster boats come in and out. After taking an afternoon nap, I’d treat myself to dinner at the well-known Maine Diner and order their special of the night.
