Spaces has an array of budget friendly hostess gifts! If you are in the area, don’t forget to visit this special shop. It is on Ocean Avenue, outside of the main square of Kennebunkport but this area does not lack charm, it is a must see! Day Trip Society is one of those places you have to visit to truly appreciate. It is one of my most favorite shops in Kennebunkport. Every time I walk in I think to myself, “I’d like one of everything please.” If you haven’t visited Day Trip yet, it’s time! They also opened up another shop called Day Trip Jr. just around the corner that caters to the much younger crowd. Day Trip has so many beautiful, funky and unique things for every budget. Day Trip Jr. is AWESOME for the kiddos. They even have a working antique electric whale that the kids can ride! Below are a few items (among a hundred others) that caught my eye this trip. I actually just visited them and got our little guy these shoes.

Yesterday we went to one of our most favorite Kennebunkport restaurants, The Ramp. It never fails to deliver a delicious meal and their menu offers something for everyone. The Ramp is pub like and sits right on the water so you get a good view of Cape Porpoise and all of the lobster boats coming in and out. Erin and I ordered the house salad and the special, steak chili with a cheese and guacamole quesadilla on the side. As you can see below, I only snapped a photo of our dessert because well, thats the most important part! It’s a blueberry crumble type concoction and it was amazing. We are also repeat patrons of their newest restaurant, Pedro’s located close to Bufflehead Cove in Lower Village Kennebunk.

We have had an odd fall, late leaf color, unexpected snow, highs of 80 degrees in early October and leaves sticking to trees right into November. Here are some photos taken in early November by our guest Kathy Fink. Thanks Kathy.
